Analysis engineer with focus on defect localization (m/f/d)
Your assignment:
-
You will carry out standard analyses on microelectronic components and assemblies using state-of-the-art analysis methods. -
You will perform defect localization on microelectronic components and assemblies using state-of-the-art localization methods such as Photo Emission Microscopy (PEM) or Optical Beam Induced Resistance Change (OBIRCH) localization. -
You will develop new defect localization strategies with appropriate test platforms in conjunction with existing and refined defect localization methods -
You will deepen our knowledge of the nanoprobing system using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and the SEM methods Electron Beam Induced Current (EBIC) and Electron Beam Absorbed Current (EBAC) -
You will be responsible for assessing and interpreting the failure images and documenting the results. -
You will work closely with internal departments such as Development and Production to improve product quality. -
You will support the optimization and further development of existing analysis methods and processes.
Your Profile:

You have a degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, electronic microsystems technology or a comparable qualification. -
Ideally, you have 3-4 years of professional experience in defect preparation, ideally in a semiconductor manufacturing company. -
You have sound knowledge of digital and analog circuit design of sensors as well as the development of test programs on various test platforms. -
Ideally, you have knowledge of the following analysis systems: Light Microscopy, PEM, OBIRCH Localization, Needle Probing, Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems, SEM. -
You are characterized by an analytical way of thinking and a precise, structured way of working and a high level of quality awareness. -
Good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
