What you can expect:
We offer you an interesting and varied Apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems (m/f/d), in which you will spend the first 1.5 to 2 years learning the professional basics in small teams in our training workshop. You will then be assigned to various departments, such as the electronic maintenance and repair departments in chip production (clean room), assembly and testing, the test equipment department, as well as individual development and laboratory departments, according to an individual schedule. In these departments, you will be closely involved in day-to-day business and projects. After successfully completing your apprenticeship, you will have many opportunities to develop internally or externally.

Key data for your apprenticeship:
The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years. The start date is 01.09.2025.
Remuneration according to the collective agreement of the metal and electrical industry 
1st year of training: € 1,127.00
2nd year of training: € 1,197.50
3rd year of training: € 1,303.00 
4th year of training: € 1,373.50
School: Walther Rathenau Gewerbeschule, Freiburg (block teaching)

Your assignment:

  • You will learn how to handle electricity safely and use tools and equipment correctly.
  • You will be introduced to control and regulation technology.
  • You will set up and test electrical circuits.
  • You will create production documents and document work processes and program microcontrollers.
  • You will set up machines and systems and put them into operation.
  • You will carry out inspections, tests and maintenance of devices and systems.

Your Profile:

  • You have a high school diploma.
  • You are interested in electronics, mathematics and technology.
  • You are good with your hands and have logical thinking skills.
  • You work independently and reliably.
  • You enjoy working in a team.
  • You speak German and English.
