Sensor System Engineer (m/f/d)
Your assignment:
- Development of magnetic Hall sensors
- Defining the sensor system and in particular the IC architecture by analyzing the system requirements
- Working closely with marketing to define the features and metrics of new products
- Comparison of technical solutions with customers
- Estimating feasibility and costs together with product development
- Verification of concepts and methods through system and behavioral simulation
- Defining and executing magnetic characterization
- Support mixed-signal design and firmware engineers in defining module specifications
- Participation in the definition of test methods
Your Profile:
- Degree in electrical engineering or physics. Specialization in microelectronics, microsystems technology is an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in relevant positions
- Experience in the development of sensor systems (HW/IC/FW/SW)
- Experience in system and behavioral modeling, verification and characterization
- Programming experience in Matlab, Simulink environment, Python or similar
- Programming experience in the field of electronic measurements
- General knowledge of analog, mixed-signal and digital IC design
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
- Professional experience with a sensor manufacturer, ideally in the automotive industry
- Basic knowledge of magnetic Hall and/or TMR sensor technology
- Experience in product development under zero ppm quality requirements
- Knowledge of methods and tools for defining and managing requirements
- Experience with functional safety according to ISO26262
- Familiar with working in a rigorous project context with interdisciplinary teams
