Supplier Quality Teamleader (m/f/d)

As Supplier Quality Teamleader you will a solid and stable relationship with the quality teams of the various suppliers from Asia, the USA and Europe and support the integration of quality requirements throughout the supply chain.

Your assignment:

  • As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical management of the Supplier Quality team.
  • You act as an interface to the strategic sourcing team to identify potential supply partners at the request of management and work closely with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to address quality issues and implement solutions.
  • You will organize and conduct on-site VDA6.3 / IATF 16949 approval audits and regular re-audits and assist with joint audits with customers as required.
  • You will be responsible for the introduction of a quality scorecard and a regular evaluation process for supply partners.
  • You define, create and implement Supplier Quality Assurance Agreements (SQAA).
  • You will support our suppliers in defining and maintaining quality standards and identifying opportunities to improve supplier processes and increase product quality and reliability.
  • You will be responsible for implementing the quality strategy within your team and report directly to the VP Quality.

Your Profile:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics or engineering.
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of quality management of suppliers, ideally in a semiconductor manufacturing company.
  • You have initial management experience, preferably at an international level, and are willing to travel internationally.
  • You have solid knowledge of quality process controls and common methods.
  • You already have experience as an auditor according to ISO/IATF/VDA standards.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
