What you can expect:

We offer you an interesting and varied apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer (m/f/d), during which you will learn the basics of the profession in small teams in our training workshop over a period of 1.5 years. You will then follow an individual training plan and work in various departments, such as the electronic or mechanical maintenance and repair departments in chip production (clean room), assembly and testing, the test equipment center, the mechanical workshop, and individual development and laboratory departments. In these departments, we will involve you closely in day-to-day business and projects. After successfully completing your training, you will have many opportunities for further development, both internally and externally.

Key data about your training:

The training period is 3.5 years. It starts on September 1, 2026.
Remuneration according to the collective agreement for the metal and electrical industry 
1st year of training: €1,303.50
2nd year of training: €1,377.50
3rd year of training: €1,488.50 
4th year of training: €1,563.00
School: GHSE Emmendingen, (part-time classes)

 

 

Your assignment:

  • You will develop and build mechatronic systems.
  • You will practice manual and machine processing of materials.
  • In addition to control and regulation technology, you will learn how to program PLC systems and create pneumatic controls.
  • You will be introduced to the safe handling of electrical circuits and the use of measuring instruments.
  • You will create production documents, document work processes, and design prototypes and your own projects.
  • You will carry out inspections, tests, and maintenance on mechatronic systems.

Your Profile:

  • You have a high school diploma.
  • You are interested in physics, mathematics, and technology.
  • You are skilled with your hands and have logical thinking skills.
  • You work independently and reliably.
  • You enjoy working in a team.
  • You speak German and English.
