Senior Digital Design Engineer (m/f/d)
Your assignment:
- You design digital circuit IPs, such as digital communication interfaces, modules for embedded motor control, or the integration of memory IPs and CPUs.
- You perform synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis for automotive SOCs.
- You take on the role of digital project lead, managing the design of a complete digital sub-system for a product.
- You oversee the entire process, from circuit construction and verification to implementation, ensuring stable manufacturing capability (DfT, DfM).
- You design digital IP and sub-systems using state-of-the-art digital design flows, including RTL, linting, synthesis, STA, place & route, simulation with back-annotation, and formal proof.
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of design methodologies and tools.
- You interface with other R&D departments, such as system engineers, analog design teams, or circuit layout teams.
- You provide technical guidance and supervision to Digital Design Engineers and Back-End Layout Engineers.
Your Profile:
- You hold a university or college degree in electrical engineering with a focus on microelectronics.
- You have 5+ years of experience in digital IP/IC design.
- You demonstrate proven experience in the successful development of digital IPs and products in an industrial environment.
- You possess deep knowledge and experience in:
- Hardware description languages (Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL)
- Script languages (TCL, Python, etc.)
- Standard digital design flow (RTL-coding, synthesis, logic equivalence check, place & route, static timing analysis, etc.)
- Digital verification methods like static and formal verification
- DFT, scan insertion, ATPG tools (e.g., Tetramax)
- You are familiar with database management and file versioning control systems.
- You have experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
